Day 1-4: 
SKILLS DEVELOPMENT THROUGH
PLAY ACTIONS

 

·        Play actions that develop skills

·        How to play with various toys, activities and games

·        Introduction to levels of difficulty / ages when playing with toys

 

Day 5: 
TOY MANAGEMENT
 

·        Toy libraries - aims and models for different needs

·        Planning a toy library (community driven)

·        Preparation & Cataloguing of toys

·        Administrative record keeping

·        Daily administration

·        Dealing with challenges

It is possible to attend the Full 5-day Course or, individually, the 4-day or 1-day modules.

Our training is hands-on and participatory.

 

ALL-SA is in the process of developing two electives – Learning through Play at Level 2, and Managing a Toy Library at Level 3. These will have credits as laid down by SAQA.

 

 

 

‘MAKING TOYS FROM WASTE’ WORKSHOPS


These workshops are usually offered throughout the year at R75 – R150.00 per person including handouts, materials and tea.
Participants need to bring the waste materials necessary to make the toys.

ALL-SA supplies materials like paint, glue etc. Booking is essential.
